To receive benefits, you must have completed and returned a Claim Form on or before June 30, 2007 (for claims submitted online) or postmarked on or before July 2, 2007 (for claims submitted by mail).

Online filing and the ability to download or print a claim form is no longer available.

Settlement benefits will be mailed beginning on November 30, 2007. Benefits will be mailed on a rolling basis through the summer of 2008.

Wisconsin consumers and businesses that bought Microsoft software, or a computer on which it was installed, can claim benefits under a class action settlement with a face value of $223,896,000.

A settlement has been reached in class action lawsuits about certain Microsoft software acquired by consumers and businesses from December 7, 1993 through and including April 30, 2003 for use in Wisconsin. People and businesses that are covered by the settlement can get vouchers that may be redeemed for cash after buying eligible computer products. The Court-ordered notice and other documents at this website explain the settlement and the benefits it provides. The postmark deadline for mailing your Claim Form was July 2, 2007. The deadline for submitting your Claim Form online was June 30, 2007.
